Shipping
How Does Shipping Work?
Shipping a puppy by air can be a complex process, but here are the key things to know:
Firstly, airlines have strict regulations around transporting live animals. Puppies must be at least 9 or 10 weeks old, have a health certificate from a veterinarian, and be in a suitable airline-approved kennel if shipped in the cargo section or be accompanied by a pet nanny if shipped in the cabin section. In this situation, a pet carrier is required.
The kennel must be large enough for the puppy to stand, turn around, and lie down comfortably. As for the carrier, it must meet regular size for a carry on. A puppy can also be put in a Kennel if it can fit perfectly under the seat.
I always ensure that my puppies travel in the passenger cabin. Accompanied by a pet nanny and have all their basic neccesities to ensure a smooth and worry free flight.
The puppy’s kennel must also be labeled with “Live Animals” and include the puppy’s name, your contact information, and feeding/care instructions. All of which is handled by the pet delivery agency.
How Long Before You Can Ship?
I am able to do a next day delivery, i.e if you make a paymen for the puppy and complete the shipping fee on a given day, you should be expecting to have the puppy by the following day.
Is It Safe?
Shipping is very safe and in all my years being a breeder, not once have I had a bad experience.
What Are The Basic Steps Involved?
-
- First you need to make the payment for the puppy and the shipping fee.
- I’ll need your information to register the puppy for delivery, which includes. Your name, address, city, state, zip code, mobile phone number and email address.
- With all that, I will be able to register the puppy for delivery to your location. You have as option to either pickup at the airport or I can make arrangements for delivery to your address.
- With all that done, I will provide you with a tracking code which you can use to get live updates on the delivery.
